GEO understands the vital role of quality control within a correctional setting; and works diligently in order to maintain the highest level of compliance. GEO’s Quality Control Plan (QCP) is designed specifically for each facility in order to identify deficiencies in the quality of services throughout the entire scope of the contract and implement corrective action before the level of performance becomes unsatisfactory. This is accomplished through a system of both internal and external audits performed by the client and GEO facility and corporate staff.
Within all GEO contracts, it is standard procedure for the corporate and regional staff to maintain daily, weekly, and monthly contact with the senior facility staff. During the implementation and throughout the duration of each contract, a variety of corporate and regional personnel representing all areas of operation will visit the facility in order to develop and maintain the most efficient QCP.
