Since our inception in 1984, GEO has become successfully established within the industry through our quality of service, innovative operational solutions, and efficient cost-effective operations. Our achievements are paralleled by an executive management team with a combined total service of over 98 years with the company.
To date, GEO's operations include the management and/or ownership of 119 correctional, detention and residential treatment facilities encompassing approximately 81,000 beds, including projects under development and eight non-residential service centers with a total service capacity of 1,400. Our team, of over 17,000 professionals, is dedicated to the safety and care of the individuals assigned to our custody on behalf of federal, state, and local government agencies.
